Zoe TP #13

For my next session with Wei, we planned out his Disney trip. This was a great opportunity to teach him some Floridan lingo, for example, words like "interstate" and "turnpike" came up in the conversation. I taught him the ropes of Disney, such as how to use "Fast Passes" and what each park is like. He's also going to Universal, so I made sure that he was familiarized with movies that are featured in rides there, such as Jurassic Park, E.T., and Men in Black. I also told him about Disney rides based on American pop culture, like the Twilight Zone and Aerosmith. I recommended some Orlando nightlife as well. He was really grateful to learn more about American culture, because he said that that's what he had really wanted to get out of his tutoring sessions.
