Skill – Reading and Speaking
Matthew read a book about Captain America, he is finally
walking away from Mary Pope. He wrote a summary of short sentences. I think
that he can write longer sentences. He keep ignoring to use capital letters at
the beginning of some sentences.
We reviewed his vocabulary list and did an excellent job
with the exception of boycotts. Words reviewed – encouragement, fulfill,
injustice, mistreated, protest, qualified, register.
He did a nice job with his Science inquiry test.
Lesson Learned: I need to copy his summary and word by word and sentence by sentence reorganize and improve his writing. Sometimes kids like to play and they do homework really quick.
