Zoe TP #15
Rina wanted to switch gears a little bit during this session, so I helped her out with some of her science homework. I taught her how to spell big, science-y words like "microscope" and "stethoscope," and told her about some of the most popular professions in the scientific field. After that, she spent some time telling me about her Disney trip, and I had her spell out some of the names of the rides that she went on, like "Everest" and "Thunder Mountain." She misspelled a couple of words, but as soon as I pointed out that they weren't right, she immediately fixed them, just like she always does! After that, we finished up some of her homework, although she didn't have much left and finished that within ten minutes. With our remaining five minutes, we quickly went through a couple of reading comprehension exercises, which she always completes with ease. This could have been my last session with Rina, but she really enjoys our meetings and practically begged me to keep coming to help her even after my TEFL session was over. I gladly accepted!
