Briggs TP#9
This was my first session with TEFL student, Santiago. We met at Starbucks in the pouring rain. We sat down and discussed what Santiago wanted from our sessions. He said he wanted me to focus on correcting his errors in speech, as well making sure he completed his sentences. Santiago is in level 3 so he speaks very well. I told him if he ever has an certain area of focus that he wanted to study, I would prepare a lesson. He said okay and that he might want assistance with his homework at some point. He reiterated that he wanted me to correct every error in speech he made. We went on to discuss Columbia, Spain, travel, and America. We discussed distinctions in culture and politics. The conversation flowed easily.
