Docster TP #16

This week I met Ali again at CIES. We decided to work on the last section of the IELTS we had not previously discussed, the listening section. I pulled up a practice test from the British council website again and we went through the instructions of that section of the exam. We then spent the rest of the session taking the practice test. All in all, it went well but there is still much room for improvement, especially considering Ali's test date is only a few weeks away. I hope he will study diligently, but realistically passing the exam will be very difficult at this stage of his English learning. I wouldn't mind continuing to tutor Ali or any of my other tutees from time to time throughout the rest of the semester. The tutoring sessions have been quite helpful in developing teaching strategies.
