Briggs TP#13
Santiago and I met at CIES. He had a presentation for one of his classes in which he wanted me to assist. He had prepared a cardboard backboard for his presentation on a 'useful invention'. He chose the rice cooker. He explained that it was a timed presentation so I kept a timer on for his speech practice sessions. He had some errors mounted on his board that he changed; this took a bit of time. For his presentation he needed to present his argument for the benefits of the rice cooker as well as discuss possible downfalls to the device. After some discussion, he decided to alter some of his points of interest both in his speech and on the board. I provided error correction as well as some colloquial phrases to get his ideas across in the speech more effectively.
