I meet with Shuo again. She had chosen an internship at Monster to apply to for her presentation. We brainstormed for her speech by discussing the qualifications Monster had advertised for this position. I think the big take away for Shuo here was that a student doesn't have to limit their brainstorming. As we brainstormed and wrote down information, she was worried because the speech only has to be 30 seconds long. I stressed to her that during the brainstorming stage, she should try to write down anything that seems helpful, and that later she can cut the stuff that is not important. 

We also worked on a TOEFL listening exercise, which she found to be easy. She answered all the question correctly.
