I met with Mohammed for this tutoring session. We again worked on writing, as Muhammed is very fluent at speaking. We started out the session with the following activity found at: http://a4esl.org/q/h/vc-food-lb.html.
For the activity, you read a sentence and then think of a word, on your own, you think should go in the blank. This was a fairly simple activity for Mohammed, aside from coming up with the words on his own. After this activity, we discussed places we liked to eat in Tallahassee. Since he has lived here for a while now, he knows just about everywhere here. Going off this topic, I gave him a writing prompt, that I would review afterwards. He wrote on what his favorite restaurant is and why? I gave him 6 minutes to write as much as possible on this topic. After reviewing his work, I saw that he only made a few minor mistakes that were easily fixed.
