Briggs TP#14

After Santiago had gone home to practice his speech, we met up the following day. We met at CIES to go over his speech and the updates he had included from the day prior. He practiced his speech several times, each time, I timed him. During the speech I provided him with error correction and suggestions for more adequate transference of speech. We stopped many times to discuss the different aspects of his presentation. I noted that he might ask his audience a question in order to get his point across and engage his audience. He liked this idea a lot. I also noted the importance of having a strong beginning and closing to his speech. The session went over time but by the end we both felt very good about his presentation.
