Briggs TP#10

I met Santiago at Wakulla Springs. We walked around the grounds and discussed it's splendor. Santiago told me how much he enjoyed the outdoors and hiking in the woods. I played tour guide a bit, as I have been to the Springs about 50 times in my lifetime (so far). We walked up to the diving tower to enjoy the view. I told him how the tower used to be twice as high. He was surprised and asked why they lessened the height and I told him how someone had passed jumping from the platform. I also told him that the biggest gator I have ever seen was directly across from the jumping tower, he laughed. Though Santiago doesn't make large grammatical mistakes, at times, he errors in speech. I correct him and he repeats after me to acknowledge understanding. I asked him if he had heard of 'Tarzan' or the 'Creature of the Black Lagoon?" He answered yes, and I proceeded to tell him how the film and television shows were filmed there. He was pleasantly surprised.
