This weekend I met with Hesham. We ate lunch at Tijuana Flats before I went in for work at the Rez. We shared what we did last week and how the new session at CIES was going. Since our last lesson at TEFL was about culture, we talked about different cultures a lot. I recently had been thinking about the idea of teaching English in an Asian country such as South Korea, China, or Japan. Since Hesham has been to China we talked about the culture there and he decided it wouldn’t be a good fit for me, but he recommends visiting. After some more discussion about our futures, mine teaching English, and his learning English, I asked him why so many people at CIES buy Mustangs. He laughed and said they just like those kinds of cars and that aspect of our culture.
