Briggs TP#12

I asked Santiago if he had ever been to Lake Ella, he said no but that was interested in seeing the lake. As soon as we arrived, he asked me if the lake was man made. I chuckled, and said yes. It is a bona fide drainage pond. I know they have many public parks in Buenos Aires (where he is from) so I thought it would be nice to show him one in Tallahassee. I picked Santiago up from CIES and we went to the Black Dog Café. I wanted to show him a bit of Tallahassee culture. He had some homework and assignments for us to go over. We covered complex prepositions and noun clauses. Once we completed his assignments, we discussed his family in Argentina. He asked me about my family. We booth have divorced parents and we talked about the prevalence of divorce these days in America and Argentina. I asked him if he owned a car in Buenos Aires, he said no and that he preferred take public transportation.
