Celina_TP #9

    This week for my tutoring session with Yunseo we started off by working on her homework. Her work for school is not very challenging to her at all which isn't very helpful for us to advance her english skills. But she is definitely an advanced student so I really believe that our tutoring sessions are giving her some time to grow more and learn more advanced reading and writing skills.
Every week she seems to be reading a new book! This week we read from another Magic Treehouse book, they were in a medieval castle this time searching for a lost stone. Yunseo's reading proficiency has improved, I have noticed a difference in her pronunciation skills and her ability to read more quickly. The book offered us some great vocabulary to use for our writing activity. This week we continued to work on her story about her monster. We utilized some pretty difficult words this week such as communicate, and mysterious. I continue to be impressed with her ability to comprehend all the words we define and work with.
