On Wednesday, February 25th, I had my sixth tutoring session with Zoe and Rina. The girls were very excited for our session, and were glad that I had brought the book of princess stories back with me.
Like last week, we began our session by each girl picking out a story that she wanted to read. This week, Zoe picked Cinderella and Rina picked The Little Mermaid. While they were reading, I noticed that Zoe was having a bit of trouble, but tried to mask it by reading quietly. To help with this, I had her slow down and clearly pronounce every word. After we read stories, we worked in their reading comprehension books. Both girls are very good at the workbooks, and I feel like they may be too easy for them. They each completed three pages.
Zoe and Rina are always so much fun to tutor, and I enjoy hearing about their lives. Rina just celebrated a birthday, and Zoe's is next week! I am sad that next week is my last tutoring session with them.
