Docster TP #2

During my second session with Ali, we discussed the results of his midterm exam. He was happy with everything except the speaking portion, where he was required to describe a picture or to correct a misspoken sentence. So I had him describe different pictures of soccer matches, picnics, concerts, and other scenes. We spent the majority of the session working on correcting misspoken sentences. It took a few minutes to find something level appropriate, but once I did it was great. I found about 10 different beginner and intermediate level worksheets. He was able to correct about 80% of the sentences on his own, while the other 20% required me to give some examples. Ali wishes to take the IS examination in March, so I will be looking for materials for him to work with next session.
