Classroom Management

10 Minutes: Warming exercise - Dictation
·         He dictates vocabulary words about parts of a house inside and out (about 25 to 30).
·         The students write their answer on an individual board, raise the board and he makes corrections.
·         Examples – dining room, roof, laundry room, fireplace, patio, garage, etc.

5 Minutes: He shows a set of Pictures
·         He ask the students to name the parts of the house just by looking at the picture.
·         They write the answer on the board, he suggest corrections.
·         If they are confused he points to the part of the house of which he needs the word.

10 Minutes: Vocabulary Quiz
·         First he lays out a set of specific Rules before taking the Quiz, examples. They have plenty of time for the short test.
o   Fill the blanks sentences with the vocabulary that they just practice.
o   He separates the students, distance.
o   No cell phone answering allowed
o   No loud questions, call the teacher and he will approach the student and answer any questions.

10 Minutes – Quiz Review
·         He presents the test on the board. Paper slide.
·         He calls on students to walk and write on the blanks.
·         Is about 10 students, he had enough for 2 per students.
·         They group review and correct mistakes plus the teacher provides feedback
·         He maintains a positive encouraging atmosphere.

5 Minutes: Exercise
·         Review some of the hard words that just already covered.
·         He presents a series of 8 sentences and ask the class to out loud fill the blanks.

5 Minutes: Review Homework, feedback and wrap up. (Approximately 50 minutes).
