This tutoring session with Khawlah was focused on searching for the perfect article for her to read and summarize. We searched through JSTOR and other online journal databases, and skimmed through several articles. The article has to be at least 5 pages long and her summary needs to be 1-2 pages. Skimming through articles proved to be very difficult because Khawlah wanted to look into the specifics of each article. I explained to her that since her article summary is due Wednesday that we needed to focus on getting the article that she needs to work on. But I told her that now that she knows where to find articles about public health that she could read these articles on her own time! :)
This part of the step took about an hour.
