Zoe TP #7
My latest meeting with Rina was probably my favorite, because Rina made me a present for Valentine's day! About halfway through the session, after we had finished her homework, she made me close my eyes and put my hands out. When I opened my eyes, I saw that she had put two things into my hands. The first was a green sheet of origami paper folded into a heart, and she had written a note on the inside about how happy she was to have met me and how much she enjoys our weekly meetings. She also gave me a small bag of Hershey's kisses. It was all so adorable and I couldn't contain my joy! After I gave her a big hug, she told me that she wanted to read one of her favorite books to me. I forget what the book was called, but it was a short story about an injured penguin at a zoo and how his handlers worked to make the penguin healthy again. The book was complete with hand-drawn pictures, which Rina loved, and she did such a fantastic job of reading it to me! I also learned a little bit about penguins, which was pretty cool! I'm stoked for next week!
