Zoe CP #3
Since I had been unable to continue attending Ramin's inter-cultural exchange sessions due to illness and prior engagements, I joined Timothy in a couple of his meetings with his conversation partner, Alban. For our first session we spent the hour sitting on Timothy's balcony, which is actually my old balcony, since Timothy moved into my old apartment. Timothy was nice enough to make hot dogs for me and Alban, complete with stone-ground mustard. Alban had never tried mustard before, and he didn't seem to care for it too much, but he wasn't rude about it at all! We discussed food, and Alban told us about how much he loves pizza. I asked what his favorite dish was when he lived in the Ivory Coast, and although I forget the name, he did show us a picture of it and it looked extremely delicious. Tim was also kind enough to offer both me and Alban a couple of beers, which we both gladly accepted! We had a great meeting, and it was a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
