TP Session 7 : 1/28/2015
I met with Young-Seo on Wednesday and had a pretty decent
session with her. We talked about her day, and her class. She had had a rough
day, and was also pretty tired from gymnastics, and was a little silly from her
tiredness, but nonetheless had a great attitude about working on some English.
We did some reading from a book about penguins, which I knew she would like. We
then practiced writing the days of the week. Young-Seo loves quizzes, so I gave
her a written quiz with questions like “what day is it today?” and “what day is
it tomorrow?” She got a bit distracted, but gave it a good effort. We ended the
meeting by reading from a book called Ameila Bedelia Makes a Friend. This
turned out to be the perfect book for her, because the pictures made her ask
questions that she had to answer by reading the text. It was a fun meeting, and
we left after a high five.
